| Description: | ROLE DESCRIPTION Payroll Administrator Type of Employment Temporary - fixed term employee Reason for hire Maternity cover Team Description & Purpose of Role To ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits for over 900 employess located in more than 25 countries. The payroll team is within the HR Department. Person Specification Ability to work well under pressure Good attention to detail. Confident communicator. Positive “can do” attitude Proactive Self-starter Job Responsibilties Working in a small payroll team processing payrolls for a number of countries. * Assisting the payroll and benefits team in carrying out their primary responsibility of making sure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner. * Preparing payroll returns such as monthly payroll process, tax, social security returns, pension administration and finance reports * Reconciliations of statutory deductions. * Assisting with other HR related issues such as headcounts, benefits administration and maintenance of personnel information. * Filing of all payroll and benefits related paperwork. * Assisting the Payroll Manager with ad hoc tasks as required. Experience Required ESSENTIAL *Numerate – to be able to process payroll and benefit calculations, headcount stats and sickness reporting. *Confident in Excel and Word, create formulae and set up new spreadsheets without the need for training. *Excellent organisation skills, being able to plan and organise workloads and take on ad hoc tasks in a demanding environment. DESIRABLE *Experience of processing non UK payrolls. * Working in a multinational environment *Experience of payroll processing * Able to use V-lookups in Excel Work pattern Full time - standard office hours
